Being able to ride, even when temperatures are close to freezing, is a crucial part of living your passion. Now, you can go ahead and brave the elements: FIVE has leveraged its experience with extreme conditions (cold, rain, speed) in the moto world to offer the ultimate winter cycling glove. The WP WARM features a breathable, weatherproof Hipora® membrane that stops water from penetrating into the glove, while allowing perspiration to evaporate. Thermal insulation is handled by a Thinsulate™ 80 g lining that is sufficiently insulating to limit the effect of low temperatures, while remaining thin enough not to hamper your movements. Comfort is optimized with an internal Bemberg™ lining for the zones that are in contact with the skin. Weatherproofing starts right from the topside construction in Windblock™ fabric. Night-time visibility isn’t left by the wayside either, with the inclusion of a black reflective 3M™ inset (discreet during the day, visible at night). Protecting yourself from bad weather is a good thing, but protection from blisters or even a bad fall… that’s another story. And so, the palm receives multiple 2 mm gel padding zones concealed underneath 3 mm memory foam, all of which is placed in strategic contact zones with the handlebars… or with the ground. The fourchettes (finger contours) are made in Windblock™ fabric that is thinner than what’s used on the topside, maintaining optimal fit. The closure and support are provided by a soft-touch and Velcro® PU adjustment flap. A tab integrated into the structure of the wrist cuff allows for easy on-off. And last, but not least, as long as you use a water-resistant GPS o smartphone, you’ll be able to handle your Touch Screen™ using the conductive fabric on the end of the index finger. It’s truly practical for homing in on your route, even when it’s raining. WP WARM: You’ll no longer think of winter as a hindrance to practicing the sport you love.
